Lynton Atkinson trained under George Guest in the choir of St John’s College Cambridge. In a glittering career in opera and lieder, he has performed at the Royal Opera House, on television and radio, and at festivals around the world.

Joy Robinson trained at the Birmingham School of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Winner of the Mario Lanza Foundation Scholarship, Joy has performed at Bayreuth with Sinopoli and with the Bonn Symphony Orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus and Kent Opera.

Chris Dowie is the regular pianist for the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and is in great demand as an accompanist for top singers and instrumentalists. With his sensitive accompaniment, Lynton and Joy will bring alive some of the great European song repertoire, culminating in a trio performance of Benjamin Britten’s Abraham and Isaac.
