Zoë's formal classical background is evident in her approach to jazz and blues. A fine interpreter of standards by Gershwin, Porter and Kern, she has headlined at Ronnie Scott's and at festivals across the UK, performing with Harrison Birtwistle, Emma Kirkby and Keith Tippett. On her own, and with husband Rob, she is admired as a lyricist and composer of fine original tunes, some of which will feature today.

Rob is originally from a rock and blues background but has made his name on the British jazz scene, performing with the likes of Jim Mullen, Django Bates and Bill Bruford.

As well as appearing regularly as a duo, Rob and Zoë front a popular six-piece group called The Baddest Blues Band (Ever!).
