Listeners will be enchanted by these two elegant and expressive players of the noble instrument. Yorkshire-born Cara Berridge is the cellist in the Sacconi Quartet and her sparring partner is close friend and colleague Kate Sawbridge, who hails from Manchester. They formed the Digby Duo whilst studying at London’s Royal College of Music where they each won a string of prizes. They have since forged international careers as highly respected soloists and chamber musicians, but they get together whenever they can to perform duets.
