Outstanding pianist Richard Uttley won the British Contemporary Piano Competition in 2006 and is now a regular recitalist at such venues as the Purcell Room and the Royal Festival Hall. This programme is based around the virtuosic Fantasies by Chopin and Schubert, but it also includes short pieces which Richard has commissioned from contemporary composers Timothy Jackson (World Premiére) and Mark Simpson.
